Stephen M. Gallagher calls upon his diverse experience to handle an array of entertainment matters for the firm’s clients. He combines his entertainment, intellectual property and corporate background to provide a unique, dynamic perspective on complex industry matters.
Before beginning his law firm practice, Mr. Gallagher worked in business, legal affairs and production for entertainment companies including Paramount Pictures, Starz, and Warner Brothers. Prior to joining Kleinberg Lange Cuddy & Carlo, Mr. Gallagher handled corporate transactions at an AmLaw 100 law firm in New York. He worked on documentation and agreements from licensing and commercial services to large acquisitions in a variety of industries, including entertainment, property management, software, food services, and telecommunications. He also focused on intellectual property and corporate governance for numerous high-value entities.
Mr. Gallagher is a member of the American Bar Association, the Knights of Columbus, the communication honor society Lambda Pi Eta, and the theology honor society Theta Alpha Sigma. He is admitted to practice in California and New York.
Mr. Gallagher earned his J.D. in 2016 from the UCLA School of Law with a specialization in Entertainment, Media and Intellectual Property. At UCLA, he was the Chief Submissions Editor for the UCLA Entertainment Law Review, a Committee Member for UCLA Law Admissions, and a member of the UCLA Entertainment Law Association. He earned his M.S. (Media Ventures, with distinction) in 2012 from Boston University, his M.A. in Catholic Pastoral Theology in 2013 from St. Joseph’s College in Maine, and his B.A. (magna cum laude) in 2011 from Loyola University Maryland.
